Terms of service
Effective September 2, 2026
The English version of this document is the controlling version. Translations are provided for convenience and are reviewed, not machine-generated.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Minna no Anime ("Minna", "we") is operated from Singapore. These terms govern your use of the marketing site, the creator studio, the viewing platform, showcase pages, community features, credits, and Live Anime (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Community Guidelines, and the Rights and Licensing terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and old enough to consent to these terms in your jurisdiction. Content levels above Minna General may require age assurance.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for keeping your contact details accurate. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits, blocks, or moderation.
3. Your content and original worlds
You retain ownership of the story, characters, worlds, references, and other material you create or upload ("Your Content"). You represent that you have the rights needed to use Your Content on the Service and that it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, likeness, privacy, or other rights.
You may not use the Service to generate or publish existing protected characters or worlds without authorization, to imitate a named studio, artist, or performer, or to create content that violates the Community Guidelines or applicable law. This applies to private projects as well as public ones where law, provider policy, payment rules, or our safety rules require.
4. Licence you grant to Minna
To operate the Service you grant Minna a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, transcode, moderate, stream, back up, display, and distribute Your Content solely as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service, to enforce these terms, and as directed by your publication and sharing settings. This licence does not make Minna the owner of Your Content and ends when the content is deleted, except for backups, legally required records, and material already licensed to others under your settings.
5. Generated output
Output produced by generation providers at your direction is treated as Your Content as between you and Minna, subject to each provider's terms and applicable law regarding the protectability of generated material. Every generation is recorded with its provider, model, version, parameters, and prompt, and published works carry a generation disclosure.
Models are production policies. A quote names the model that will run; we will not substitute a different model after you approve a quote.
6. Collaboration and accepted contributions
Direct editing of a project requires an invitation and your acceptance as a member. Submitting a proposal, comment, or asset does not make you a member and grants only the limited rights needed for review, moderation, security, and dispute evidence.
When a project's authorized workflow marks your contribution as accepted, you retain copyright in it and grant the project owner the broad licence described in the Rights and Licensing terms. That licence survives your leaving the project. Special arrangements apply only through a signed agreement linked to the contribution record.
7. Alternate timelines
A project owner decides whether alternate timelines are permitted, at which story points, and under which licence. Creating an alternate timeline gives you ownership of the new material you create after the divergence point, subject to the licences attached to inherited characters, lore, and assets. It does not give you ownership of the inherited material or the original project. Convergence or canon adoption requires explicit approval from both owners.
8. Credits
Credits are closed-loop, non-transferable, non-withdrawable production value used to pay for generation and production operations. Credits are not money, an investment, a security, an ownership share, or a promise of profit. Purchased credits do not expire while your account is active; promotional credits carry their own disclosed terms.
Every paid job shows its credit price before you approve it. Approval reserves the amount; the reservation is captured when the job succeeds and released when the provider fails, times out, or rejects the input. Completed jobs that pass technical and safety checks are charged at their quote even if you do not use the output.
Contributing credits to a project pool supports that project's production. It does not create ownership, authorship, a revenue claim, or a right to a refund from the project owner. Owners cannot withdraw pooled credits as cash.
9. Payments, refunds, and disputes
Minna is the business you pay. Prices are shown in US dollars with taxes at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider and screened for fraud; a purchase placed under review is fulfilled once the review clears. Unused purchased credits may be refunded within 14 days of purchase where local law requires or our policy allows. Credits captured by completed generations are not refundable. Chargebacks on fulfilled purchases may result in a negative balance and suspension of paid features until resolved.
10. Live Anime participation
Voting is free and equal. A proposal may reserve only credits that its proposer and opt-in co-funders explicitly authorize, up to each person's stated cap. Losing, rejected, withdrawn, or expired proposals cost nothing and release all reservations. A winning proposal's accepted production cost is allocated proportionally across authorized commitments. The owner, collaborators, project pool, and other viewers are never charged for it.
All proposals are evaluated by the platform before voting. The platform may stop a production only for a safety, legal, rights, fraud, funding-integrity, or technical condition, with no charge if production is not accepted.
11. Viewing, access, and creator earnings
Owners may offer free, ad-supported, subscription, supporter-gated, or paid access. Purchased access remains enforceable even if a later archive edition differs from what aired. Streams are for personal viewing; only owners receive official masters. A creator-revenue program, when available, is governed by its own published, versioned policy and requires verified payout onboarding.
12. Content levels and safety
Every project, publication, and live session carries a Minna General, Minna 13+, or Minna 16+ level and descriptors. Minna may raise the effective level, apply descriptors, or reject content. These labels are platform signals, not official classifications. Where an official classification, licence, or age restriction applies, publication is blocked until a valid record exists.
We moderate prompts, uploads, proposals, and generated media, and we may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts for violations, with a stated reason and an appeal path.
13. Prohibited conduct
You may not: infringe rights; clone or depict real people without the required consent; create sexual content involving minors or any pornography; harass, threaten, or dox; manipulate votes, ratings, or recommendations; evade blocks or sanctions; scrape, reverse engineer, or overload the Service; introduce malware; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
14. Intellectual property of the Service
The Service, including its software, design, brand, and original platform artwork, is owned by Minna or its licensors. Feedback you give may be used without obligation.
15. Termination and account deletion
You may delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deletion tombstones your account; we retain ledger, rights, licensing, moderation, payout, and attribution records that we are legally required to keep or that other users rely on, under a pseudonymized identity. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where appropriate and an appeal path where provided.
16. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. Generated output may contain errors or be unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing what you publish. To the extent permitted by law, Minna's aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Minna in the twelve months before the claim, and Minna is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, except where a change is required by law or is needed to address safety. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.
